2026: m2act x Double
Cross-sector coaching call for applications
In the summer of 2026, Migros Culture Percentage m2act and Double will jointly launch a one-off call for applications regarding cross-sector coaching. The aim is to apply and disseminate the existing knowledge and tried-and-tested approaches of m2act funding recipients in new contexts in a targeted manner. This will achieve lasting results and strengthen the capacity for innovation in support of fair practices and sustainable structures in the cultural sector.
Detailed information on coaching offers, funding guidelines and the application process can be found here: DoubleInterdisciplinary projects
Closing date for applications: 14 September 2026
Each coaching receives 11,000 for the collaboration. The plan is to hold a series of around 10 working sessions over the course of a year. Starting in autumn 2026.
Double is the mentoring and coaching platform of the Migros Culture Percentage. Through 10 calls for applications each year, the funding programme brings together experienced experts and their professional peers for an exchange lasting around one year in the fields of literature, dance, theatre, pop music, cabaret, classical music, jazz, visual arts and film. Since 2025, a cross-sector call for applications has been part of the portfolio. Priority is given to projects that are cross-sectoral in nature.
In 2026, m2act expanded its support for fair practices and sustainability from the performing arts to all artistic sectors. A lot has happened in the performing arts over the last five years. Workplace situations have been scrutinised, and issues such as care and sustainability, which have long been part of everyday life, are now being incorporated into institutions and campaigns. By opening up to other sectors, m2act aims, on the one hand, to promote fair practices and sustainability across all sectors. If we want to bring about change in the cultural landscape, it makes sense to do so as broadly as possible across all sectors. On the other hand, the aim is to make existing knowledge from the performing arts accessible to other sectors. This is made possible through the joint call for applications with Double.
Apply now for a coaching session with:
- Heitere Fahne, so that you too can set up the Practical Training for Culture Makers within your organisation. People with different learning needs can be trained to write rehearsal plans, work behind the scenes, take on the role of evening manager or, for example, act as a moderator.
- Barbara Ellenberger, who will work with you to apply the «A:Practice» sustainability methodology to your project or organisation. «A:Practice» offers a holistic, creative and organisational perspective of your context, ensuring that climate action does not remain a side issue, but becomes the focus of your actions.
