m2act x Bühnennetzwerk x Migros Cooperative Aare
On 10 June 2026, the m2act x Bühnennetzwerk networking meeting took place at the Stadttheater Langenthal. 20 participants from the regional arts and cultural scene in the fields of theatre, dance, music, and literature attended. The afternoon began with an apéro riche in the foyer of the Stadttheater Langenthal. Energised, we moved into the afternoon programme and explored the funding opportunities of Migros Culture Percentage m2act and the Migros Culture Percentage of the Migros Cooperative Aare. This was followed by the FAIRSPEC workshop. The workshop created space for the attending producers and curators to think utopically. The ideas and speculative new formats that emerged were then collected and presented in the plenary. The event concluded with a final discussion guided by the key question:
Why is it currently more important than ever to engage in fair practices in cultural production, and how can this be achieved?
