Funding opportunities through Migros Culture Percentage m2act

Every year m2act looks for new projects with a thematic focus. All groups, institutions and networks in the performing arts scene are eligible to enter. The decision-making process consists of a multi-stage evaluation by the m2act team and an external advisory committee. The funding volume is up to CHF 120,000 for 3-5 selected projects. In addition to financial support, m2act accompagnies projects through dialogues.

IMPLEMENTATION and ACCOMPANYING CONTRIBUTIONS: implementing ideas and stabilising networks

After a site meeting and clarification of the funding needs, an application can be submitted outside of the annual call for applications in the summer. This will allow new ideas pertaining to fair practices and ecological and social sustainability to be brought to life. Follow-up funding is also available for selected projects that have already received funding through m2act. Multi-year funding is available for individual projects. The contributions start at CHF 10,000 and are linked to regular discussions with the m2act team.

SUPPORT CONTRIBUTIONS: strengthening and facilitating events and projects

m2act offers uncomplicated financial support for one-off events, workshops and publications. A decision on funding of up to CHF 10,000 is made within 3-4 weeks of a site meeting.
