Art+Care
art+care is a growing network of people from the art and culture sector throughout Switzerland. Together, they form an art + care cosmos, developing and practising strategies for making art work and care work fit into life. This interdisciplinary network aims to combine artistic and cultural activities with (professional and individual) care responsibilities and to focus on the tension between gainful employment and care work.
It strengthens care perspectives in the structural change of the arts and culture sector, makes them visible across disciplines and designs concrete measures for fair, social, sustainable and non-discriminatory practice.
art+care creates formats for the exchange of experience and knowledge between stakeholders and actively participates in public discourse and on platforms. The network seeks to network with other actors, initiatives and organisations from culture, society, business and politics. art+care wants to join forces and work towards change from different perspectives that enables forward-looking, powerful and caring collaboration.
