Personal stories and \u201creal\u201d people on stage create authenticity. They are extremely popular at the moment. An (auto)biographical project\u2019s success is based on the fact that a real experience is revealed, but retold in a different way and context. What dependencies and ethical obligations exist in this kind of artistic collaboration? And how do other practitioners ensure the shared stories, eyewitnesses, protagonists and actors are treated respectfully and fairly? \u00abBiography\u00bb & Stage asks questions and provides inspiration and insight \u2013 all based on interviews with artists, participants and experts who deal with biographical stories artistically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The website provides experience reports, questions procedures and encourages ethical behaviour. Individual workshops involving case studies and role plays are available, based on the experiences of other practitioners. All this aims to create a good working environment in which to develop compelling projects.<\/p>\n\n\n
