Migros Culture Percentage m2act promotes and brings together projects that contribute to fair and sustainable practices in Swiss arts and culture. Support is provided for ideas, projects and events that focus on or test pioneering processes, ways of working, methods, structures and tools. m2act prioritises projects that are co-created by cultural professionals and experts from various disciplines and sectors of society. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

m2act was launched in 2020 in response to growing calls for structural change from those in the performing arts scene. Change processes need just as many resources as creating art does. The declared goal of m2act is to work together with the supported parties to promote a healthy, non-discriminatory, sustainable, and fair cultural landscape in Switzerland. Starting from January 2026, Migros Culture Percentage m2act’s support for fair practices and sustainable structures to all sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Discover how m2act supports and brings together performing arts, music, visual \/ fine arts, film, games, digital culture, literature & comics, spoken word and interdisciplinary arts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Funding<\/strong>
m2act has three different funding programmes<\/a> : contributions through calls for projects, implementation, accompanying and support contributions. The total funding dedicated to projects<\/a>  each year amounts to around CHF 370,000. m2act can finance individual projects in full or jointly with other funding partners. m2act bases its funding decisions on each project\u2019s impact objectives.
 
Exchange and support<\/strong>
m2act and representatives of funded projects stay in regular contact. Support requirements are clarified, joint events are planned and the challenges and needs of the project at hand during the funding process are discussed together with the m2act team as part of m2act\u2019s support. m2act is always happy to hear from project representatives.<\/a>
 
Networking and open knowledge transfer<\/strong><\/strong>
Together with its beneficiaries and cooperation partners, m2act organises public network meetings<\/a> on fair and sustainable practices, as well as internal exchange formats for its funded projects. The events serve to facilitate the open sharing of knowledge and experience and thus create a platform for new ideas and collaboration. The m2act toolbox <\/a>provides access to tools from funded projects and other partners in the spirit of open knowledge transfer. m2act aims to raise awareness in cultural policy for fair practices and sustainability. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
